Weird Al Headlines One of 24 Series on Nerdist YouTube Channel

Felicia Day wasn?t the only individual at the intersection of entertainment, internet, and geek to make some programing revelations about her upcoming YouTube channel during WonderCon last weekend. Stand up comedy?s, G4?s, AMC?s, late-90s MTV?s, and the internet?s Chris Hardwick let loose some more information about his soon-to-be-released slate of shows targeted towards a similar subculture.

The Nerdist Channel is another one of the world?s largest video sharing site?s originals set to launch at the beginning of April. A zombiefied Hardwick told the online hordes a little of what to expect in early March, but the former Singled Out host who claims to have never been romantically involved with Jenny McCarthy recently uploaded a puppet-laden press conference with an lot of specifics.

Those specifics include mention of no less than 24(!) original, revived, and/or repurposed programs, which will have a new online home on the umbrella of Nerdist. As Hardwick emphatically states, the goal is to create a channel with some kind of video entertainment for every brand of nerd, from ?gaming, movies, science, technology, music, pop culture. Wahtever it is, whatever you nerd out over, the Nerdist is going to have a show for you.?
