Jack Zurla's dog, Annie, was a fixture of his Mid-Wilshire neighborhood

Jack Zurla, Annie's owner, says he is moved by the memorial erected for his dog, who was stung by a bee, went into anaphylactic shock, and then died Saturday night. "I'll remember Annie as a dog that was more human than dog," he says.
